The
GIS lab is located in the Amazonia Science Gallery of the
Smithsonian National Zoological Park. The Gallery houses multiple
research programs from the Zoo's Department of Conservation
Biology (DCB), a science unit within the Conservation and
Research Center (CRC) of Front Royal, VA. The Amazonia Science
Gallery is not only a place of biological and conservation
research, it is a public exhibit open to any visitor of the
National Zoo.
